Dirty Dozen Challenge English

Intro:

What are you doing just to torment yourself on the ergometer? In addition to the 30K Challenge „Dirty Thirty“, there will be in addition the „Dirty Dozen“ Challenge starting November 1st, and ending at the end of January with the Austrian Indoor Championships.

Ergo Rose (Rose vom Wörthersee):
Round 2 over 16,000 meters; the official length of the skiff regatta „Rose vom Wörthersee“. The data are accounted into the overall and individual results of the challenge. The data will be made available to the organizer of „Rose vom Wörthersee (RV Albatros – Willy Koska)“.  Each individual participant can also be part of a team for the Blue Ribbon Challenge.  Each individual participant can only take part in one team.

Event:

From November up to the Indoor Championships in January, it is 12 weeks.  During these 12 weeks, 12 events of the official Concept2 Ranking list have to be contested.  This means one competition per calendar week.  The „Dirty Dozen“ start with 21097 meters at the 1st week and ends up with the 100 meter sprint at the last week.  The results are set in relation (percent) to the world best marks and will be added.  Whoever adds the most points is the winner.

KW 02 (09.01. – 15.01.2023) – 500 Meter
KW 03 (16.01. – 22.01.2023) – 1 Minute
KW 04 (23.01. – 29.01.2023) – 100 Meter

KW 04 – 28.01.2023 – Austrian Indoor Championships

Aim:

Within 12 weeks 12 sessions („Dirty Dozen“) – and to increase from the long haul to the sprint. In the end you should have collected as many points as possible.

Daten:

To be included in the ranking list, I need birth year, Team name and a photo of the C2 monitor. Data to be submitted till Wednesday 18:00 of the followinig week by e-mail to challenge@ister.atTrust is paramount. If there is an age jump during the competition, you are not ranked higher in the total standings. 

The ranking of individual starters is done according with the Concept2 age classification.
