Dirty Dozen Challenge English

DEUTSCH  –  HRVATSKI  –  ENGLISH

Intro:

What are you doing just to torment yourself on the ergometer? In addition to the 30K Challenge „Dirty Thirty“, there will be in addition the „Dirty Dozen“ Challenge starting November 1st, and ending at the end of January with the Austrian Indoor Championships.

Due to the cancellation of the largest skiff regatta in Austria „Der Rose vom Wörthersee“ and one of the largest eighth long-distance regattas in Austria „The Blue Ribbon from Wörthersee“, I went in touch with the Organizing Commetees from the Rowinc Club Albatros.  As result I am allowed to carry out these competitions as part of the Dirty Dozen Challenge. In round 2 (09.11. – 15.11.2020) we will go for the official regatta distance of 16 000 meters instead of the 60 minutes.

Ergo Rose (Rose vom Wörthersee):
Round 2 over 16,000 meters; the official length of the skiff regatta „Rose vom Wörthersee“. The data are accounted into the overall and individual results of the challenge. The data will be made available to the organizer of „Rose vom Wörthersee (RV Albatros – Willy Koska)“.  Each individual participant can also be part of a team for the Blue Ribbon Challenge.  Each individual participant can only take part in one team.

Blue Ribbon Challenge (Blaue Band vom Wörthersee):
Round 2 over 16,000 meters; the official length of the eight regatta “Blaue Band vom Wörthersee”. The data are accounted into the overall and individual result of the challenge. The data will be made available to the organizer „Blauen Bandes vom Wörthersee (RV Albatros)“.  Each team consists of 8 participants, category for men, women and mixed (at least 50% female team members).  The time achieved by the Ergo Rose can be used for the team challenge.  Only one start is required to be accounted.  Each individual participant can only take part in one team. The result is the average time achieved by the team.

Event:

From October 29th up to the Indoor Championships in January, it is 12 weeks.  During these 12 weeks, 12 events of the official Concept2 Ranking list have to be contested.  This means one competition per calendar week.  The „Dirty Dozen“ start with 21097 meters at the 1st week and ends up with the 100 meter sprint at the last week.  The results are set in relation (percent) to the world best marks and will be added.  Whoever adds the most points is the winner.
